Lending Off Road Mobility Devices to persons on a temporary basis
At Access Recreation Outdoors, our goal is to lend Mobility devices that are specifically made for outdoor off road use. We want to connect people who have physical disabilities or impairments with a device that can handle rough or rugged terrain, so that they can traverse our beautiful Ontario trails, parks and beaches and more with their friends, families and support groups.

At Access Recreation Outdoors, we're passionate about the great outdoors. We started our organization because we wanted to share our love of hiking, camping and going to the beach with others. Our goal is to provide off road mobility devices and expert advice so that everyone can enjoy the outdoors to the fullest.

Our director Tyler Lang had a severe fall in 2019 that ended up with severe nerve and muscle damage, which imaired his walking ability. In early 2025 his Sister and Mother bought him a scooter and it changed how he could interact with his environment and opened up his world. He wanted to get back to hiking and trails with his wife and dog. He realised that the devices to do so cost a lot and that he wasnt the only person feeling the need to "get back to nature".

Our team is made up of outdoor enthusiasts who are passionate about what they do. We have family and friends that we would like to see benefit from an organization like this and we want to share the freedom that a program like this can offer.
